Dance

Dance is an integral part of the theatre.  We aim to develop competence and confidence in jazz, ballet and tap, and to give an understanding of both the theory and development of the human body.  Dance classes are streamed according to the student's level of attainment.

The school offers fun classes for all ages progressing to graded examinations in Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Street Dance/

Whether for fun, fitness or vocational aspirations we offer quality training in all disciplines.

From 3 years children can register for our Tiny Twisters programme.  This gives a strong foundation in creative movement and the development of Classical Ballet technique.  Junior students also study Tap and Modern dance to examination level.  This course progresses to our Primary Foundation, Primary and Grade 1 level of examination.  From here, students can progress to graded examinations through to Grade 8 and for those wishing to develop to higher level vocational examinations to Advanced 1 standard.
